Starting Salary £30,000

Our client a leading professional body is now seeking a Business Development Executive – South East based from home preferably based around the North, North East or East of London, regular travel required across the South of England. Ideally based within easy reach of the M25 and M11.
If you are a consultative Field Sales, Business Development, Key Account, Account Management Executive or Manager working for either a Professional Body, Membership Organisation, Trade Association, Chartered Institute, Awarding Body, Training Provider, Education Provider, Course Provider, University, Schools, College, Engineering organisation, Engineers firm we would love to hear from you.
To carry out professional development, sales and marketing activities aimed at the recruitment, migration and retention of Members throughout industry and academia across South East, Greater London, Wessex and Eastern regions, with some additional travel across the UK.
An interest in or experience of engineering and/or career development and professional development.
Highly organised with excellent planning, reporting and communication skills.
Strongly motivated to achieve results, with a high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity.
Ability to influence, advise and coach others.
Excellent communicator, both orally and written.
Able to adjust their communications style to a wide range of audiences.
Able to make rational, realistic and sound decisions.
Proven experience of managing own workload with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
E-literate and competent in developing, administering and using PC and associated networks and systems (e.g. Microsoft Office) to acquire, manipulate and disseminate information.
Current driving licence, up to 6 points.
Experience of working in a membership organisation
