Our client is seeking an experienced person with a track record and natural flair identifying and developing relationships that deliver strategic value.
The client is an internationally recognised professional body that nurtures and develops multiple high profile and in some cases high value relationships. The ideal candidate for the is role with have experience of working in a stakeholder engagement role with hopefully an international scope and have a clear and advanced track record of creating lasting and economically beneficial relationships.
Work with a wide range of stakeholders to help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives related to member support, student growth and reputation and influence
Communicate the objectives for each stakeholder to colleagues across the organisation and co-ordinate the engagement plans and reporting for each stakeholder to identify value and opportunities
Engage the international offices to ensure a two way dialogue related to stakeholders and communication of content and technical expertise to inform and educate on the key issues facing the profession and the world of business
Gather intelligence from stakeholders and communicate to relevant colleagues in the organisations
Gather insight and prepare briefings for stakeholders on key topics related to the profession, business, policy and the organisation internationally
Represent the organisation at stakeholder events or meetings
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs
Key Experience Required
Demonstrable experience of identifying and developing relationships that deliver strategic value
Strong analytical and intelligence gathering skills
Outcomes focused but flexible in their approach
Excellent communicator at all levels of seniority
Ability to work as part of an internationally based team and with various stakeholders across cultures
Demonstrable understanding of the profession and the current challenges
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
A calm and flexible approach with a can-do attitude and an ability to work to tight deadlines
An interest and understanding of international business issues and the accountancy sector
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent command of written and spoken English
