A stunning opportunity for a Membership and Database Executive to join the team at a well-respected and influential professional body based in the Westminster area of London.
Working with the Membership & Database Manager and across the organisation departments, the Membership & Database Executive will be responsible for providing daily assistance to members and staff to ensure accurate data is uploaded and maintained within the Salesforce membership database. The Membership & Database Executive will maintain high standards of integrity in all matters relating to the Society, ensuring the best professional interests of the Society and its members, and that members, staff and third parties receive a good quality of service.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the annual membership renewals process
Assist the Membership & Database Manager with on-going development of the Salesforce database including creating custom objects and maintaining folders, fields and views
Monitor and improve data quality within the Salesforce database through merging duplicate contacts and organisations
Performing bulk uploads and updates of data as required.
Monitor Salesforce storage usage and archive/delete data as needed
Create and maintain help notes for Salesforce processes for internal users.
Review and approval of member address changes from the website
Adding and maintaining user records within Salesforce, ensuring new staff receive a licence upon joining and outgoing staff are deactivated
Create and maintain reports and dashboards and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
Provide statistical analysis and trends to colleagues and the executive team as required
Assist the Membership & Database Manager in providing training to all Salesforce users.
Participate in regular departmental progress meetings recommending ideas for improving processes within the membership team
Support membership team members as required and perform other related duties as delegated by the Membership & Database Manager
Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
Experience in working with Salesforce (or similar/equivalent)
Proven customer service skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience of working with Salesforce CRM (or similar/equivalent)
Experience in working in a membership body/trade association
Data analysis skills
