Our client an international professional body is recruiting for a Membership Coordinator to work at their offices in South West London.
You will work closely with the Membership Development Manager to process applications from members outside the UK and ensure processes are followed to ensure high levels of customer service.
This role will involve liaison with our office in Hong Kong, as well as members in Australia, New Zealand, UAE and Qatar to organise professional review interviews for Chartered professionals and Incorporated professionals.
You will support the membership development campaigns and once settled within the role there is opportunity to get involved further with key country campaigns to grow membership further for the institution.
Key Experience and Skills Required
Experience of working in a customer focused environment, dealing with enquiries with tact and diplomacy
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written skills
Good working knowledge of pc software, Microsoft Office and databases
Ability to write agendas and minutes
Experience of working with committees
Experience of membership organisations
Self motivated and ability to use own initiative
Ability to work to tight deadlines with good personal organisation and time management skills
Experience of giving accurate advice via telephone and email
Educated to degree level
Experience of working in an international environment
