A stunning opportunity for a Membership & CPD Officer to join the team at a thriving and highly respected Chartered Institute based in Central London.
To grow the institute’s membership by bringing in new members, maximising retention of existing members and encouraging participation in CPD through proactive relationship building. Contribute to the smooth running of all membership and CPD processes, liaising with colleagues about improvements that can be made.
You will act as the first point of contact for all current and potential members, across all aspects of membership and CPD, providing consistent and excellent customer service through a range of platforms including email, telephone and social media. You will also collaborate with the wider organisation to consistently deliver a high standard of internal and external support.
You will have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Using your knowledge and skills you will ensure all members and potential members receive excellent customer service during every interaction.
The person – Applicants must ideally demonstrate the following:

Experience of working within a Chartered Institute / professional body.

Used to working in a routine environment.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Organised, meticulous and used to planning ahead.
Highly customer focused with strong empathy, active listening skills and perceptiveness.
Participate in cross functional working practices as required.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office products and CRM systems.
Conversant with social media platforms both for communication and for monitoring.
