Basic Salary £35,000-£40,000 plus £4,000 Car Allowance

My client a leading professional membership body is currently looking for a Regional Account Manager to work across the Yorkshire & The Humber region.

Responsibilities

 

New business

 

Identify new training providers and support their approval to offer the qualifications.

Identify and secure training from new employers.

 

Account management

 

Engage with senior decision makers at existing training providers to increase sales of products.

Identify and target leading training providers within the region with the ability to grow student numbers.

Support those training providers who may be at risk of withdrawing

Identify and support leading employers within the region.

 

Events

 

Attend a minimum number of meetings per year with employers, training providers and key networks in your region.

Attend regular meetings and feedback on market intelligence and Account progress.

Represent the organisation in your region at key events (e.g. network meetings, Achievement awards etc.).

Work effectively with all Regional Account Managers and teams

 

Commercial products

 

Meet commercial sales targets by selling new products to employers and training providers.

 

Key Experience Required

 

Essential

 

Education and training sector

Business to business sales

Consultative sales skills

Account Management skills.

Outcomes focused sales approach

IT skills

Good written and presentation skills

Consultative selling

Education and training sector

Successful track record of winning new accounts

Proven ability to leverage commercial knowledge and use it to win other accounts

 

Desirable

 

Understanding of training market for organisation and training providers
