Full Time Permanent role
Basic Salary Up to £35,000 dependant on experience plus 25 days leave plus a day on your birthday. Also usually get 3 days between Xmas and New Year – but this is at the discretion of the CEO, Season ticket loan (after passing probation), Pension: 5% employer contribution (after 3 months) Life insurance – 3 times salary if death while working at (after passing probation). Quarterly programme of social events.
A stunning opportunity for a skilled and experienced Training and Development Officer to join the team of a highly respected not for profit membership-based association.
To develop the membership organisation’s training and resources offering for current and potential members to improve the professional development of self-employed professionals. This includes increasing awareness of self-employment among young people and growing the membership organisation’s engagement with this group. Support the growth and delivery of membership organisation’s Student membership and University Partnerships programme.
This job will suit someone who has at least 2 years’ experience of designing and delivering training for a range of audiences, who can demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with potential partners and is confident managing their own area of work.
Experience of developing high quality training materials; e-learning, resources and content for training programmes
HR/training background – need to be able to design training and resources, as well as be confident delivering workshops
Have experience with universities/higher education sector
Experience of designing and delivering training presentations and workshops to a range of audiences
Ability to demonstrate experience of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Experience of working with education institutions and / or training providers
Experience of public speaking and presenting to a wide range of audiences
Familiarity with small business/self-employment issues
Experience of working in careers/enterprise/entrepreneurship education
Existing contacts/relationships with education and training providers
Experience of working in a membership organisation
